Along with a diaper cake that I made, (will be posted on Monday!), I made this cute little onesie card to give to the parents-to-be. I can't recall where I got the svg file from, but I'm guessing it's from http://svgcuts.com/blog/
All paper items used were from my stash. The Butterfly embellishment is from Basic Grey felt stickers "woolies". The sentiment stamps are PTI "Mega Mixed Messages".

Father's Day Frame with vinyl "DAD" using SCAL
Hello All,
I'm SOOOO happy it's Friday - it's been a crazy and hectic two weeks! I won't bore you with all the details, but we had some house renos going on the last two weeks, plus the last couple weeks of school is always chaotic as I volunteer at school events, and then soccer tryouts and soccer camp started this week too. Yada, yada, yada !!!
Today I finally had a chance to work on a Father's Day gift using vinyl. Denise over at www.paperpastime.com has done several projects using vinyl and picture frames and I love how they looked so I wanted to do something to give to my DH from our son.
I had some trouble with the small vinyl detailed pieces, likely because I was working with too small of a font, which was due to the smaller size of my picture frame (8"x10"). Also, the words "dedicated, awesome & dependable" were near impossible to use (too small of a font used) and were frustrating me so I decided just to write on the glass with a blue Sharpie! I also had my son sign his name to personalize it.
Behind the glass I used white cardstock as my husband will likely hang it in our unfinished basement, which is where is office is.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you card for Violin teacher, using SCAL2
*** UPDATE: I entered this card on Alex's YOU HAD ME A CRAFT Made It Myself Monday's.
Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I've posted. Once the good weather comes, I typically spend most of my days outside puttering in the yard (weeding, planting, mulching, mowing, etc.) so that's what I've been up to. Plus, I really haven't made anything exciting to share with you up until today.
A girlfriend asked me to make several teacher thank you cards for her. I got all excited and was motivated to hit my craft room almost immediately.
The first card is for a violin teacher, which I created using SCAL2. I found an image from the Internet and cleaned it up. I had this image in my head of how I wanted the card to look like and I must say that I was more than pleased with this card. When I showed it to my girlfriend, I thought she was going to cry, she loved it that much!
If you have any questions on how I made the card, please don't hesitate to send me an email.
Thanks for looking.

Manchester United Soccer Jersey - customized!
My son is a huge ManU fan and his 12th birthday is on Friday (he's an April Fool's baby!) so I made this card for him. Hopefully he will like it!
I've made a couple similar cards for his friends' birthdays; FC Barcelona card http://judestersworld.blogspot.com/2010/12/fc-barcelona-soccer-jersey-card-using.html and Brasil card http://judestersworld.blogspot.com/2010/11/brasil-soccer-jersey-card-with-cricut.html.
This card was created in SCAL2 and customized with our surname and his actual jersey number on the back of the jersey. The ManuU crest was hand drawn. The red cardstock is PTI Pure Poppy.
