Simple and easy stamped flower Get Well card, non-Cricut

Hope everyone had a nice long weekend and a great Memorial Day celebration.  It was very warm and humid in the Milwaukee area.

MY SIL had surgery so I made this simple card for her.  I used Liquid Pearls that was in my stash and I wasn't overly thrilled with how they turned out as they left a little point.  After I took the picture of my card, I used a pencil and lightly rolled over the tip and that helped smooth them out a little.  I've seen several bloggers that have used Viva Decor Pearl Pens and am anxious to buy some on my next shopping spree!

Goodies used ~ PTI Berry Sorbet cardstock, older misc. cream colored cardstock, Inks: PTI new leaf and Worn Lipstick (Ranger Distressed Ink).  The stamp is from PTI Everyday Button Bits.

Have a great day!

Another Vintage look Black and Cream purse card

This was the last purse card that I made.  I was just "okay" with the end result.  I'm happy with the purse card itself, it's mainly the flower that I'm not overly thrilled about.

I tried creating a flower from PTI paper using the same method that Lisa Johnson provides on her blog, Poppy Paperie.  Click HERE to see the direct link to her instructions for making paper poppies.  I love what she created making these cute little flowers, I think that it was just "me". :)  Lisa is one VERY talented lady!

Teacher Thank You card ~ Bushel of apples

I'm on a blog roll! You don't see me for a month and then "poof", you can't get rid of me!  lol

I made this card a long time ago <last June!> and just kept it in my stash.  I'm having a vague memory of entering it in a blog challenge, but not sure where.  I never posted it on my blog so I have no record of it!

A girlfriend went through my "stash" wanting teacher thank you cards and she loved this card.  Before sending it off to a good home, I thought I should at least post a picture of it on my blog ... mainly so I have a record of it <one of the many things I love about a blog!>

Sorry I can't provide any details of the Cricut cartridges used because it was so long ago!

Have a great day.

Vintage look Black and Cream Purse Card

This was my favorite purse card that I made!  The paper I used was from the DCWV, LA CREME Stack.  This paper was tricky to work with. Two pieces glued together made it thicker, and more sturdy - almost like a thin chipboard.  The mostly black with cream pieces have black flocking which is really cool.

Pink Purse card

Hi again!

Here is another card that I made for my girlfriend for her to give as a teacher thank you card.  It's definitely not your typical thank you card! Apparently the teacher she is giving this card to is very  "Girlie"!  LOL

Thanks for stopping by.

Hope you have a great day!

Thank you card for Violin teacher, using SCAL2

*** UPDATE:  I entered this card on Alex's YOU HAD ME A CRAFT Made It Myself Monday's.

Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I've posted.  Once the good weather comes, I typically spend most of my days outside puttering in the yard (weeding, planting, mulching, mowing, etc.) so that's what I've been up to.  Plus, I really haven't made anything exciting to share with you up until today.

A girlfriend asked me to make several teacher thank you cards for her.  I got all excited and was motivated to hit my craft room almost immediately.

The first card is for a violin teacher, which I created using SCAL2.  I found an image from the Internet and cleaned it up.  I had this image in my head of how I wanted the card to look like and I must say that I was more than pleased with this card.  When I showed it to my girlfriend, I thought she was going to cry, she loved it that much!

(pouch on left side for gift card)

If you have any questions on how I made the card, please don't hesitate to send me an email.

Thanks for looking.
